This flexibility is enabled by the technological capabilities of NxTV's innovative system design, allowing the quick and easy addition of new services, ensuring a superior guest experience.

NxTV in-room services that are currently announced include:

High Definition and Digital Video on Demand (VOD) - VOD is the cornerstone of the NxTV System. NxTV offers the broadest selection of VOD first-run movies at digital quality. NxTV VOD provides Personal Video Recorder (PVR) capabilities to the guest, including pause, fast forward, rewind and save.

High Definition TV (HDTV) - Guests will enjoy high definition television programming with the NxTV in-room entertainment system. As more and more hotel rooms are appointed with the latest in television technology, such as flat-panel plasma displays, HD offers viewers a free to guest (FTG) television viewing experience that is truly luxurious.

Internet Protocol TV (IPTV) - IPTV is an innovative offering that provides guests with the same digital picture quality as Video on Demand. NxTV is the first company to offer FTG programs over the same IP-over-Ethernet network that is used to deliver other NxTV services. IPTV offers guests Personal Video Recorder (PVR) capabilities - including fast forward, pause, rewind and time-shifted record - that have previously only been available with our Video on Demand product.

High Speed Internet Access (HSIA) - NxTV offers guests a variety of high speed Internet access options. We provide both wired and wireless laptop access in the guestroom, conference rooms and public areas on the hotel property. Guests can also access the Internet through the guestroom television.

Voice over IP (VoIP) - With the ubiquity of cell phones, many hotels have difficulty generating revenue from telephony services. Now, NxTV enables hotels to offer their guests pure digital VoIP telephone services at an attractive price. In addition to long distance calling, NxTV's VoIP solution includes a one-stop messaging service for e-mail, voicemail, incoming fax, conference calls and call forwarding. The NxTV VoIP application utilizes existing in-room phone equipment, eliminating the need for additional capital investment.

My Hotel - The NxTV in-room entertainment system provides a customizable menu category that allows each hotel to provide their guests with a rich range of services. Basic features include folio review, guest checkout, parental controls, room service ordering and guest services. With NxTV, hotels can quickly and easily tailor the guest welcome screen, create a custom menu of hotel services and integrate text, graphics and even video into guest service segments. The System also has the capability to be personalized for each individual guest and can send text messages to specific rooms or groups of rooms.

Free To Guest (FTG) - Hotels with the NxTV in-room entertainment system allow their guests to enjoy higher quality video and a wider selection of channels when viewing FTG programming. When a hotel adopts IPTV technology, FTG capabilities will expand with Personal Video Recorder (PVR) functionality - fast forward, rewind, pause and time-shifted recording.

NxTV Guide - The NxTV Guide is an interactive real-time display of all free to guest programs, with the ability to look ahead up to 14 days. With the guide, guests can easily see what's on every channel and find the shows they want to watch, with descriptions of each scheduled program. The NxTV Guide is refreshed every day so that channel lineups and program information are always current.
