Job Description

NxTV, Inc. currently has an opening for a Purchasing Manager. This position will procure all equipment relating to Hotel Installation projects as well as the internal requirements of the organization. This position reports to the Controller, but will work closely with the management of Operations, Installations and IT departments.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare Purchase Orders based on Bill of Materials for specific project/installations.
  • Negotiates price, delivery times and schedules with suppliers to provide proper level of inventory to meet scheduled requirements.
  • Manage and update purchase requisition file to keep requestor updated on status.
  • Act as liaison and provide support to the field and installation managers.
  • Manage receipt and delivery of Purchase Order.
  • Support warehouse staff on shipping and inventory requirements, including lifting of many equipment.
  • Attend weekly Operations (Monday) and Procurement (Friday) meetings to identify and approve purchasing requirements.
  • Assist Controller on special projects.
  • Assist in the creation and implementation of a company wide security policy to safeguard company assets.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-5 years purchasing experience with emphasis in technology, computer and/or cabling related equipment.
  • Strong computer/excel skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Self-starter, organized and detail oriented.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • MAS90/200 experience preferred.
