Job Description
NxTV, Inc. currently has an opening for an Accountant with emphasis in Accounts Payable. This position will be responsible for maintaining the day-to-day accounts payable of the company expense reports, international payments, and special. This position reports to the Controller.
Responsibilities
Maintains accounts payable records
Receives and processes vendor invoices
Maintains tax payment records and 1099 files
Receives and answers vendor and customer inquiries
Performs month end closing
Maintains various spreadsheets
Preparation of Audit schedules
Assists Controller on special projects and other accounting staff with special projects
Qualifications
3+ years in an Accounts Payable position with knowledge of general ledger accounting
MAS90/200 Experience preferred
Computer skills using MS Office, Word, Excel and Outlook
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities while still meeting deadlines
Efficient, accurate and reliable work habits
10-key by touch
Ability to interact effectively with vendors and company personnel
